Sometimes when I read the Holy Scriptures I ask myself, would I have done what the people did in that section of Scripture.  For example in Isaiah 6 we see the God calling Isaiah.  In Isaiah 6:8 it says “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I, send me.” I would like to think that I would say as Isaiah said “send me”.  Then I have to wonder, because in the next verse we read how God then told Isaiah that he would be ministering to people who hearing would not understand, seeing would not perceive lest they would be converted and healed, yet the holy seed would come from this people (v9-13). I wonder would I have withdrew my answer to God to send me when I heard that I would be speaking to people who would not get it, and who would not accept the faith? Sometimes I think we can forget the results are not why we are saying Yes or No to God.  Are we going to be obedient to His call on our life or not? Noah ministered for over 100 years, doing God’s will with no conversions…but through Him the earth got a second chance.  If God has called you to do something … be like the saints of the Bible … do it … regardless of what you think the outcome will be.  Would I? Would you? I sincerely pray, that together we would.
