This website represents a dream that is over 10 years in the making…to be a published author and to do public speaking. Many of you might not know who I am, so let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Tanya Salter, and as of July of 2018 I have been married 20 years to my one and only husband. Together we have two daughters, that we are very proud of.
Before you get the idea that I am going to paint a picture perfect family, let me share that we are not perfect. My kids, like yours have made mistakes and learned from them. My home is not always visitor ready, but visitors are always welcome (whether I am embarrassed or not). I have not been the perfect wife or mother, yeah I failed the calm voice test. What about you? I have not always read my Bible everyday, sometimes it has been a struggle to get through one verse. Yet at other times I have read chapters and books, not wanting to put the Bible down. Can you relate?
You should not join me in this quest because I am put together, but rather because I like many others have struggled to get where I am (and I am still not picture perfect). Let’s build one another up!
I have been involved in ministry along side my husband for most of our marriage, and enjoy doing so. I have seen many hurting people and happy people through the years. I have met kind people and manipulating people. I have seen the “church” at it’s best and at it’s worse. I have cried with some and celebrated with others. Personally I have had seasons of plenty and seasons of want. Through it all, I have found God to be faithful!
