Have you ever heard the sweet heartfelt prayer of a child? I have and there is something about those uninhibited prayers that are so sweet. I have also had my children ask me “Does God hear my prayers?” To which I respond of course He does! Since that time I have found a very specific Bible story that proves that God does hear the prayers of a child.  In Genesis chapter 21 we hear Hagar in the wilderness saying “Let me not see the death of the child” (Genesis 21:16). Then a very interesting thing happens in the next verse (17); “And God heard the voice of the lad: and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.”

How comforting to know that God hears the prayers of our children and grandchildren!
