Luke chapter 4 records the temptation of Christ and Christ’s responses to the Devil himself. Have you ever come through the storms of temptation and was glad that it was finally over? I have. It was a time of breathing afresh. A time of sweet relief. A season of the pressure of temptation being gone. Talking of the temptation that Christ endured in Luke 4:13 it says “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.” Satan was going to tempt Christ again in the future after a season. This thing is sure: either you are being tempted now or will be in the future. Enjoy when you have seasons that are off.
