It is that time of year again. School is starting for many kids or about to start, and that got me to thinking about studies. Studying, we expect students to study. Then we graduate and the level at which we study seems to decline. Talk about being convicted. I help my kids to study and sometimes they study harder than I. I need to change that!
II Timothy 3:16-17 reminds me “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” If Scripture is given for the above mentioned things; and it is, then ought not I be astudent of it? Ought I not to study it in great detail? How about you…how has your studies been lately?
