Exodus 10: Moses was receiving further instruction from the Lord.  This time it was about the eighth plague that the Lord was about to give to Pharaoh and the land of Egypt, the plague of locusts. Some plagues the children of God endured with the Egyptians (plagues 1 & 2); whereas plagues 4 & 7 they did not suffer with the Egyptians. At plague 8 the Lord tells Moses that he is doing these signs for two purposes: 1. to show Pharaoh the signs of the Lord (and thereby His power v1) and 2. “and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and your son’s son the mighty things I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.” I find this very interesting that the Lord brought hardship upon a nation to show both the believers and unbeliever’s that He is the Lord.  Moses is instructed to share these things with his son and grandson.” Without hardships, sometimes we do not see the mighty hand of the Lord.

What about us, have we shared the things with our sons and son’s son that we can show them that the Lord is God?
