I think at times my eyes allow me to have more grief than I need. This is because my eyes look at the circumstances around me and take it all in. The eye sees the private conversations in God’s house, the eye sees cold shoulders, the eye sees rolling eyes of others, the eye sees injustices, the eye sees misunderstandings, and the list goes on. Have you been there? Then I am am reminded that as Christians we live by faith and not by sight (II Corinthians 5:7).
Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemend the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” Noah gives us an example of living by faith. By faith he built an ark that was not needed (for it had not rained on earth as of yet). Noah’s actions were determined by his faith not his sight. What about you and I, are our actions determined by faith or sight??
