I have found that the more I grow in my walk as a Christian the more I understand when the Psalmist wrote Psalm 120:1 “In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.” I have learned to cry to the LORD and I have learned the comfort and peace that comes from knowing that Almighty God has heard my cry. Then I read in Psalm 121:2 “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
So, when distress comes is the LORD the first one you cry out for or is He the person you cry out to when all else has failed? I have learned that He is the first to cry out to, because He hears me and He is the source of my help. So, why go anywhere else?
