It just seems as though we can not get away from the blame game.  It has been with us since almost the beginning of time. Look at Genesis 3:12 “And man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree,  and I did eat.” After man sinned God asked him if had eaten of the tree (v11) and then Adam begins the blame game.  Did you catch who he blamed? Adam blamed God: “the woman whom thou gavest me”.  Don’t we also blame God for things today?  God made me this way, I can not change, therefore accept me.  One example of this is when we worry and are anxious.  We excuse it away and blame God; much like Adam did, and then admit that we worry.  It goes something like this: we start worrying and a fellow brother or sister in Christ remind us not to worry but to give it to God.  Then the blame begins…God made me this way and I can not help it, and yes I worry. The principles of  Scripture do not support us worrying about anything… Matthew 6:25, Luke12:22, Philippians 4:6, I Peter 5:7, and more. So, the question remains are we doing the blame game or are we taking personal responsibility?
