Today is a historic day in our country. The day that President elect Obama takes the oath of office and becomes our next President. Whether you voted for him or not, whether you like him or not, we are to pray for him and give thanks. Look at I Timothy 2:1-3 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men: For kings, and all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior”.
So, are you up to the challenge? Are you ready to pray for President Obama? To give thanks for him. To live quiet, peaceable, godly and honest lives? Together lets do that very thing.
