Our tongues speak many words any given day, not to mention the groans, sighs, and other non-words that get utterance with our lips. We all know according to the researchers that women need and do speak more words per day than men. Sometimes I laugh to realize that my desire to talk, talk, talk is part of my God given design, poor Perry (my husband). The Bible has much to say about how and what we communicate. As I read Psalm 119:172; “My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.”, I wonder how many of my words will be put aside to speak of God’s Word today? How about you?
